With this image, all I did in Photoshop is; darken the left side of the image with the burn tool and coloured the right eye in black. I absolutely love the impact the black sclera has on the image. I softened her face a bit with the blur tool just to make it look a bit smoother, it goes nicely with the background. But then again, this image looks like it belongs in the category of 'demons' and is not fit for my shadow images, so I will improve this in Photoshop, once again, and then re-upload it.
The research I have done and what I want to do, is based on shadowing about half of the body to see the outline of them just being high-lighted, but with this image, it looks great with the light on it, the detail in the hair is gorgeous and the left shoulder disappearing is sweet.
This image is more powerful and it's what I was aiming for; high-lighted shoulder and face and with the model partially obscured. This image is soft yet so bold and captivating. I didn't need to do much editing because I set up the lighting well and got the image I wanted with the right angle and softness.
I do like this image and I think I have edited well but i'm not 100 percent sure. I'm pretty sure I won't use this image in my final images though.
This image and all the images below, I do love but for what I am focusing on (shadowing) its not what I will use because its not what i'm trying to capture. These images are lovely but when I did the shoot, I was not very focused on the lighting and more focused on capturing the baby smiling. It's kind of like i've just done a shoot for family portraits and not for my work. Its good that I have had more experience with the lighting but it hasn't come out the way that I should have made it.

im going to have a boy in the middle and a girl on the other side facing inwards towards the boy. but i havent done the other shoots yet, studio is fully booked :( im going to have to try and squeeze myself in somewhere

you know what, idont exactly know, i just know that im working on shadows and lighting in the studio, but i dont know how to explain what im doing
but it seems a bit boring and meaningless. i could broaden it and make it like, celebrating teenagers or something like that
